My core philosophy is built on two simple ideas: Progress, Not Perfection, and Subtraction Over Addition.

Welcome to StepChange Living. I’m so glad you are here.

If you feel like you are constantly in motion but have no momentum, you’re not alone. This is the core feeling of modern overwhelm. We spend our weeks reacting to the urgent demands of others, while our most important goals get pushed to "later."

StepChange Living was founded on the belief that there is a better way. It’s not about finding a "perfect," hyper-optimised life that requires more work to maintain. It is about building a more coherent and intentional one with the life you already have.

My approach is designed to be a counterbalance to the pressure of the traditional personal development world. It is built on two simple, core beliefs:

1. Progress, Not Perfection.

The "all-or-nothing" mindset is a primary driver of burnout. We set an impossibly high bar, and when we inevitably fall short, we abandon the effort altogether.

Here, I celebrate the 1% improvement. Sustainable growth comes from small, consistent, and often imperfect steps. The goal is not to have a perfect week; it is to be slightly more intentional this week than you were last week. This is a space that values the small win, because small wins, compounded over time, lead to transformative change.

2. Subtraction Over Addition.

Your life is already full. The solution to overwhelm is not to add more tasks, habits, or complicated systems to your to-do list. The most powerful path to clarity is often found through subtraction.

My goal is to help you create space. I focus on tools and frameworks that help you identify and remove what is holding you back the limiting beliefs, the unnecessary commitments, the draining habits to free up your energy for what truly matters to you.

If this philosophy resonates with you, you’re in the right place. Every article, toolkit, and framework you will find here is a tool to help you take one small, intentional step towards a life that feels truly your own.

When it comes to becoming the person you want to be, every step counts.
